BLOG FROM THE BADGER CULL FRONT LINE – WEDNESDAY 7 OCTOBER 2020

No badgers came to our garden last night.  The first time for, literally, months.

Sadly, it’s not down to any malfunction of the cameras; they simply didn’t come.   And for no reason we can think of except the worst-case scenario.

And take it from me, it’s absolutely heart-breaking.   But I cling to hope that it’s just an anomaly due to bright moonlight.   A chill in the air.   Anything except the cull coming to our doorstep.

Tonight, like so many others, we’ll be out again, listening and looking.   And waiting to see if any badgers return to our garden.
